Cocktail Demonstration Evening-Macclesfield

In late September, we completed another Cocktail Demonstration evening for a charity event in Macclesfield. It was to raise money for Action for Sick Children. This is where we provided  three members of staff, (2 of which were ‘highly trained’ cocktail barmen). We explained how the cocktails were invented and roughly when the cocktail was first made (and by whom). Then we went into demonstrating how to make the cocktails, by breaking the elements of making each cocktail down. This was great fun, as once we had made the first cocktail, one of the ladies was nominated by the group to make their own cocktail, under our guidance. Then all the ladies had a ‘taster’ cocktail. We brought all the smaller equipment for the event, cocktail shakers, pourers etc as part of the service. Once again, a great night!

30th Birthday Party-Connah’s Quay

In mid September we completed a 30th Birthday Party event. We had a fun night working locally in Connah’s Quay, Deeside. Diane (who booked us) wanted a ‘Black Tie’ event with everyone making an effort to ‘dress up’. It was James and 2 other guests birthday’s all around the same date, so a lot to celebrate. Lovely people to work for Diane and James. We had a brilliant night with everyone enjoying the cocktails and Prosecco! We hope their were not too many sore heads the next day!

Hen Night-Oswestry

In early September we provided our services at a Hen Night, (which are always fun nights). We set up the bar in the large kitchen/dinning room, in a house near Oswestry, North Wales. On a dry but cool Autumn night! We provided the bar/glassware/staff etc. The ‘hens’ loved it and drank lots of cocktails! It’s always really nice to receive repeat business too. The evening finished early, as the hens started on the karaoke! A really good, successful night, which we thoroughly enjoyed working.
