Pink Berryade-Cocktail

How to make the above cocktail, you will need the following ingredients/equipment.

Cranberry Juice

Lemonade

Zest of a few lemons

Pina Colada Glass (or similar from your cupboard)

Ice Cubes

2 x straws

Cocktail Shaker/Glass

Lemon Wheel (for decorating glass)

As this is almost the beginning of Spring, a non-alcoholic cocktail is for the health conscious. This is one of my favorite non-alcoholic cocktails to drink, a very enjoyable cocktail, and it is also very easy to make!

Pour a double measure (50 ml) of the lemonade, with the zest of a few lemons and the cranberry juice, into the bottom of the cocktail shaker. About (roughly) a third of the way up the cocktail shaker. Then shake the cocktail mix roughly 10/15 times over your shoulder. Pour it from the shaker into the glass, (filtering the cocktail mix first), over the ice cubes. Finally, garnish with a lemon wheel (for decoration). Relax and enjoy!

Wedding-Liverpool

In February we helped with a wedding in Liverpool for Hannah and Richy. The wedding took place in the church then we provided all the guests with a ‘Welcome Drink’ in the lovely warm and cosy church library. The real coal fire certainly made a difference! The cocktail bar was set up in the adjoining church hall, a perfect set up. As the night progresed, all the guests were well looked after by out trained mixologists and Thomas,¬†with lots of dancing. Another fantastic night for all! It is really nice to return to the same venue and to be greeted by the same lovely church staff.

Maldives Cocktails

We have just been on a fantastic, lovely honeymoon, on Kuredu Island in the Maldives. Where we tasted several different types of cocktail, (mainly rum based and vodka based) and non-alcoholic cocktails too. It’s great to get served a cocktail in a fesh coconut from a local tree. During this time, I have also learnt a few new cocktails to add to our portfolio. In this trade, you never stop learning and I will explain how to make some of these drinks, in future blogs.
