Cocktail Demonstration Evening-Ruthin

Cocktail Demonstration Evening

In October of this year, we have completed another Cocktail Demonstration evening for a hen night in a lovely venue, in Ruthin, Denbighshire. North Wales. This is where we provided two members of staff, (both of which are ‘highly trained’ cocktail barmen). We explained how the cocktails were invented and roughly when the cocktail was first made (and by whom). Then we went into demonstrating how to make the cocktails, by breaking the elements of making each cocktail down. This was great fun, as once we had made the first cocktail, the ‘hens’ came in pairs and maded themselves a cocktail, under our guidance. We brought all the smaller equipment for the event, cocktail shakers, pourers etc as part of the service. We were also asked by Rebecca if we could dress up, by wearing a sparkly top hat and a dancing stick! Once again, a great night! and a fun group ladies!

Caribbean Kiss-Cocktail

How to make the above cocktail, you will need the following ingredients/equipment:

Dark Rum (Cockspurs Rum would be ideal)

Amaretto

1/4 Litre of Vanilla Ice Cream

1 x Tin of Coconut Milk

1 x carton of Pineapple juice.

Pineapple Slice (for cocktail decoration)

Pina Colada glass (or similar from your cupboard)

Ice Cubes

2 x straws

Cocktail Shaker/Glass

This is a very enjoyable cocktail and easy to drink. It is also fairly easy to make!

Pour equal measures (one shot of each), of the Cockspurs Rum and Amaretto into the bottom of the cocktail shaker, with (about a third of the way up the cocktail shaker), the pre-mixed Ice Cream, Coconut Milk and pineapple juice. Then shake the cocktail mix roughly 10/15 times over your shoulder. Pour it from the shaker, over the ice cubes. Finally garnish with a slice of pineapple. Relax and enjoy as if you were on holiday!
